1. For a New Dish: Honest Burgers
What: For years, devoted Honest Burgers customers have been asking the team for a spicy burger and they’ve finally come up with the goods. The chilli burger is the first new addition to their permanent menu since the Tribute (Honest Burgers’ all-American hero) in 2014. And good news, the new spicy bite is available now across all Honest Burgers sites.
Why: The burger features a thick beef patty topped with chilli cheese, smoked bacon, jalapeño relish, red onion, lettuce and Honest hot sauce. And the burger is served with HB’s epic portion of homemade rosemary salted chips.

2. For a New Lunch Menu: Hoppers
What: Hoppers, everybody’s favourtie Sri Lankan restaurant in Soho has launched two new set menus to see you through the week. There’s a lunchtime steal, and a menu where you eat your way through Hoppers’ best loved eats.
Why: The first, ‘Taste of Hoppers’, give everyone the chance to try all the favourite dishes on the menu for £28pp, including the bone marrow varuval and the lamb kothu roti. Ideal for those who want to try the very best of Hoppers. The menu is available for lunch and dinner every day. And if you’ve become tired of your sandwich/snack lunch combo, give the new ‘lunch for one’ a whirl. Comprising of a hopper or dosa, mutton roll or cutlet, and a lamb or vegetable kothu all for £17pp, the menu is available for lunch every day.

3. For a New Afternoon Tea: The Montagu at the Hyatt Regency London
What: To celebrate August’s Afternoon Tea Week, for the whole month guests can enjoy bottomless prosecco with The Montagu’s Green & Black’s Chocolate Afternoon tea. The Green & Black’s #ChocolaTEA is London’s signature entirely chocolate afternoon tea, celebrating Green & Black’s 25th birthday with Churchill’s favourite dessert.
Why: Showcasing Green & Black’s’ unique flavours in an array of British classics, The Montagu’s Green & Black’s #ChocolaTEA includes the Churchill burger with a Dark 70% Chocolate infused BBQ sauce, an aubergine mousse cocoa eclair and a DIY salted chocolate buttercream cupcake. No afternoon tea is complete without freshly baked scones and the #ChocolaTEA’s chocolate and pistachio scone with a chocolate curd is godly.

4. For a New Dinner Offer: Bon Vivant
What: Staying in the capital this summer? Got the ‘no holiday’ blues? Parisian restaurant, Bon Vivant, is spreadingsome joie de vivre every Sunday through Tuesday in August with a new bottomless dinner offer. The deal: 90 minutes of bottomless wine for just £15 per person when ordering two courses from the à la carte menu until the end of August.
Why: Tuck into French fare with entrées such as terrine de foie gras with cacoa, rhubarb, cassis and warm brioche; or a planche de charcuterie featuring a selection of quality cured meats, rillettes, terrine and cornichons. Next up, Gallic mains with bold flavours — including magret de canard with boudin noir black pudding, artichokes, and hazelnuts, and bavette steak with truffle creamed spinach, confit garlic shallots and a red wine jus. Round off your meal with one of Bon Vivant’s traditional Parisian treats, from Earl Grey crème brûlée to a tarte tatin for two.

5. For a New Charitable Cause: Shake Shack x Dominique Ansel Bakery London
What: The shakes are high this August as Shake Shack celebrates their 4th Annual Great British Shake Sale in support of Action Against Hunger. This year, Shake Shack have teamed up with renowned pastry chef Dominique Ansel – named World’s Best Pastry Chef 2017 – and Dominique Ansel Bakery London to introduce a new limited-edition shake for the occasion, The Banoffee.
Why: The Banoffee features fresh, hand-spun vanilla custard blended with caramelised bananas, dulce de leche, Speculoos biscuits and a hint of sea salt, topped with whipped cream and Speculoos crumbles. The Great British Shake Sale is an initiative taking place at all Shacks throughout August. The goal is to raise awareness and funds for Action Against Hunger, a global charity committed to saving the lives of malnourished children in 50 countries. Anyone who visits a Shack and donates £2 or more to Action Against Hunger in August, will receive a voucher for a complimentary hand-spun shake on their next visit (valued at £5.25).

6. For a New Summer Menu: StreetXO
What: Dabiz Muñoz’s innovative and high-octane restaurant StreetXO on Old Burlington Street is continuing to evolve with a range of new dishes and drinks that embody Dabiz’s punk rock approach to fine dining.
Why: In preparation for the summer months, StreetXO have introduced Dabiz’s latest dessert menu, bringing a StreetXO twist to the ultimate street food sweet with a cooling selection of ice cream, lassi and sorbet in an ever-changing host of inventive and bold flavour combinations. Current highlights of the menu include the simple but creative Tokyo tiramisu, with matcha tea, pannacotta, yuzu, coffee cream and “black garlic-sesame” sponge, and the lychee and beetroot-flavoured lassi XO, which elevates the traditional Indian yogurt to a whole new level with a hearty dose of Bombay curry.
