Winterville has opened in south London and it’s absolutely mega. The Christmas village is a right festive knees up, and is home to Clapham Common’s first ever ice rink, UV-powered crazy golf, a Narnia-inspired interactive experience, rides, dodgems, more rides, roasted chestnuts, buckets of candy floss, and an incredible street food line up. If that hasn’t tempted you to travel south of the river – nothing will. Here’s the all important info:

Winterville: Street Feast

Street Feast have brought their biggest food and booze line-up yet to Clapham Common: get ready for 16 of London’s best street food traders and 15 brilliant bars at SW4’s pop-up Christmas town.

The all-star street food line up includes: Up In My Grill, Petare, Chin Chin Labs, Babek Brothers, Born & Raised, INK, Lagom, Mother Clucker and White Men Can’t Jerk. Expect street food favourites and festive specials (including veggie, vegan and kid’s dishes) – dig into Lagom’s grilled turkey with lingonberry and chilli sauce, parsnip crisps, ‘slaw and white sauce, or try the meaty collab from Up In My Grill and Honest Burgers – a juicy beef patty topped with chimichurri, chorizo, melty provolone cheese, shallot mayo and Malbec-pickled onions.

Swing by Truck Stop where top traders Le Bao, Popdogs, Kalimera and Love Churros have parked up alongside Sophie Michell, who’s cooking up a delicious Christmas menu. Save room for a post-skate pudding at SE Cakery’s rink-side caff – there’s Salted Caramel, Oreo, Chocolate Orange, Nutella and Mince Pie Brownies plus hot drinks. Oooft.
