5 Things You Need to Eat in London This WeekBy Alicia Grimshaw
There’s so many foodie treats on offer this time of year in London; new special dishes, afternoon tea and, of course, new openings. Here’s 5 things we think you simply cannot miss in the capital this week:
1. For a New Breakfast Menu: The Perception at W London
What: The Perception at W London has launched a new breakfast menu served in the W Lounge, complete with floor-to-ceiling views over Soho’s iconic Wardour Street. The menu features a mix of indulgent dishes as well as traditional and twisted breakfast staples.
Why: The newly launched à la carte menu features delicious twists on the almighty egg; prepared fried with mozzarella, basil and sourdough, or poached and served on a waffle with smoked ham and melting cheddar cheese. For the purists, the breakfast staple equally comes boiled, scrambled, as an omelette or a Benedict with lashings of freshly-made hollandaise sauce. A vibrant chia seed breakfast bowl with almond milk, banana, hemp seeds and dried fruit and a hot bowl of quinoa, tender broccoli and sweet potato with a ginger yoghurt dressing are on offer for the virtuous breakfast crowd.

2. For a New Opening: Feast Canteen
What: Forget plastic chairs, greasy spoon caffs and dreary interiors, Feast Canteen has reinvented the ‘canteen’ concept and dialled it up a notch. Just opened, Feast Canteen has taken the unused, uninspiring food court in Hammersmith Kings Mall and transformed it into a slick canteen for the modern age.
Why: With no other food line-up like it in West London, Feast Canteen has Made of Dough dishing out the finest pizza, Sinchow serving healthy rice paper rolls, Patty & Bun knocking up their legendary burgers, Breddos Tacos offering their renowned tacos, and Salvation Noodles making authentic Vietnamese noodles with a modern twist. Each of the restaurants have taken the top dishes from their menus as well as adding some new additions. Deliveroo is also be providing a host of new home delivery options to Hammersmith and its surrounding areas in West London.
