Hackney legends Five Points Brewing have partnered with the team behind London Fields Courtyard to launch the all-new, really big, Five Points Courtyard. The 300-seater space, which is an absolute sun trap, features independent food traders, cocktails, natural wines, and tank-fresh Five Points beers with indoor, outdoor and bookable private areas.

Hungry? You’re in luck. The new courtyard is home to two renowned food vendors: cult favourite open-fire BBQ specialists, From The Ashes and Middle-Eastern taco extraordinaires, anoosh.

Nose-to-tail concept, From The Ashes, was an idea born out of the pandemic by Temper colleagues Martin Anderson and Curtis Bell and its opening in Five Points Courtyard signals a full circle return to East London. Expect an array of seasonal small and large plates ranging from Argentinian Sausage with Chimichurri, Short Ribs, Half-smoked Chicken and Salsa Verde, and Pit Roasted Cauliflower Flatbread with Chilli Romesco.

Celebrating Mexican and Middle Eastern flavours, anoosh (an Armenian expression which celebrates the love of food), is the brainchild of KERB alums Jack A. Fargher and Oli Stephen of Camden Market’s famous Oli Baba’s halloumi fries. Think taco fillings with a twist including Harissa Chicken with zhug sauce, jajig and pickled chillies and vegetarian-friendly Falafel tacos topped with gojuchang tahini and pomegranate molasses and a variety of sides.

Five Points Courtyard also boasts an extensive drinks menu from tank-fresh Five Points beer to cocktails from Dalston favourite Pamela bar and a wine list offering from Bert Blaize (2019 Top Young Wine Sommelier Of The Year and author of ‘Which Wine When’).
