London Cocktail Week is back this year with some great experiences and takeovers across town! Whether you are a cocktail connoisseur or a novice, you don’t want to miss the series of activations hosted by some of the city’s best bars from the 12th – 22nd of October.
1. London Cocktail Week Opening Party at Artesian
The Lowdown: What better way to kick off London cocktail week than an amazing night with Möet & Chandon at Artesian? Indulge in The Langham’s outstanding hotel bar to enjoy a special selection of Moët cocktails, carefully curated to showcase the versatility of the world-renowned champagne.
Perhaps you want to expand on your cocktail skills before the exciting week commences, so why not join in on an incredible educational session demonstrating how Moët is not only an amazing champagne but also an excellent base for cocktails? The masterclass will showcase how Moët can be paired with a selection of pre-batched tinctures which incorporate a range of spirits to highlight the key grape varieties of Moët – Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay.

2. The Great British Takeover Series at Christina’s
The Lowdown: This London Cocktail Week, Christina’s Shoreditch is partnering with Ramsbury to showcase some of the greatest bars from across the UK for ‘The Great British Takeover Series’, serving bespoke cocktails that highlight the unique flavours, talented producers and native produce of this sceptred isle. The week kicks off with Hey Palu from Edinburgh, who will be transporting guests to Scotland on London Cocktail Week’s opening night, Thursday 12th October, followed by Manchester’s Speak in Code on Tuesday 17th October, and Cardiff’s Lab22 on Wednesday 18th October.

3. Equal Parts x Candelaria
The Lowdown: On Sunday 15th October, East London cocktail bar, Equal Parts will host the award-winning Parisian cocktail bar, Candelaria to celebrate this year’s London Cocktail Week. The event, sponsored by French liqueur St Germain, will see the full team uprooted and transported to Equal Parts for a true Candelaria experience.
For one night only, the Candelaria team will present an exclusive menu of six expertly crafted cocktails made using St Germain and other premium spirits from the Bacardi portfolio. Guests can also expect a full DJ set from Candelaria’s creators, Carina Soto Velasquez and Josh Fontaine, on Equal Part’s record players for an evening of feel-good music and delectable cocktails.

4. Hacha Mixing Cocktails With Music
The Lowdown: Following the launch of their groundbreaking new menu concept the team at Hacha invite guests to join them for an evening of futuristic cocktails and music as they showcase their innovative new technique of mixing cocktails with music.
Expertly created by co-founder and agave expert Deano Moncrieffe the new menu takes a never-before-seen approach to mixology, using cymatics techniques to influence flavour through sound waves, vibrations and frequencies. The session will include demos, from Deano himself, of three different cocktails being created in this way with a serve of each. Come and taste the cocktails of the future.

5. Scarfes Bar x Lakes Whisky Distillery
The Lowdown: This October, Scarfes Bar at Rosewood London will be offering an exclusive cocktail with The Lakes whisky distillery and a tasting of their exclusive whisky partnership bottle for London Cocktail Week. The No.7 cocktail will be available from the bar from the start of London Cocktail Week on 12th October, and throughout the entire month. Scarfes Bar will also be offering exclusive tastings of The Lakes Decadence, created through the partnership to celebrate the bar’s ten-year anniversary this year.

6. Silverleaf x Libertine
The Lowdown: On 14th-15th October, the renowned cocktail bar Silverleaf will host Casa Bonay’s Libertine, the stunning cocktail bar from Barcelona. For one night only, the teams will collaborate to provide an exclusive menu, sponsored by Campari. Serves will include six innovative cocktails with three cocktails presented from each of the bars, as the menu showcases both bars’ enthusiasm to provide seasonal and sustainable cocktails to guests. The takeover will be from 7pm-10pm at Silverleaf at Pan Pacific London, bookings are recommended.

7. Scandi Takeover Series at Callooh Callay Shoreditch
The Lowdown: Join Callooh Callay for a series of epic Scandi takeovers throughout London Cocktail Week. Kicking off with Svanen, Oslo on 16th October, Nimb, Copenhagen on 17th October, Aarhus, Gedulgt on 18th October, closing off with A Bar Called Gemma, Stockholm on 22nd October. Hosted in partnership with Glenmorangie, each bar will take over the front room of Callooh Callay Shoreditch and will create a selection of incredible Glenmorangie cocktails which can be enjoyed throughout the evening.

8. Hennessy Eau-De-Vie Masterclass at TT Liquor
The Lowdown: Delve deep into the art of cognac distillation and discover the meticulous process that produces Hennessy’s exquisite Eau-De-Vies. Learn about the intricate steps that contribute to the creation of this exceptional spirit during this exciting and engaging masterclass with Hennessy’s Global Trade Advocacy Manager, Jordan Bushell.
Whether you’re looking to brush up your knowledge on this old-age French spirit or looking to get an insight into some of Hennessy’s rarer expressions, this informative and exciting masterclass is not to be missed. Those looking to carry on the party can join TT Liquor and Hennessy at an exclusive music night, with live DJs and a host of special Hennessy cocktails.

9. In-Depth Ardbeg Masterclass at Nipperkin Bar
The Lowdown: Immerse yourself into the world of one of the biggest producers of single malt whisky with an exclusive Ardbeg masterclass and tasting hosted in Nipperkin’s cosy private dining room. This intimate event will explore a selection of Ardbeg’s outstanding collection of whiskies from the classic 10 Y/O and An OA to some of its more unique and limited edition bottlings such as the Bizarre BQ and Heavy Vapours.

10. London Cocktail Week Closing Party at Seed Library x Röda Huset
The Lowdown: To close off the London Cocktail Week celebrations, Seed Library and Moët & Chandon will be hosting an epic closing party on Sunday 22nd October! Seed Library’s talented team of mixologists, led by none other than Ryan Chetiyawardana aka Mr Lyan, have created a list of bespoke Moët & Chandon cocktails which can be enjoyed whilst soaking up the ambience of this laid-back basement bar in the heart of Shoreditch.
Special guests Yacht Club, the exclusive private members club, and Sweden’s Röda Huset will also be joining the party bringing an elegant twist to Moët & Chandon cocktails which can be enjoyed alongside Seed Library’s London Cocktail Week cocktails.
