If you’ve never heard of BABE, the canned wine from by Josh Ostrovsky, AKA “The Fat Jewish”, you’re in for a rose-fuelled treat. Founded on US soil in 2016, BABE has made waves Stateside, and now the wine brand has hit the capital with a pop-up shop aptly named The BABE DREAM store, open until 13th June.
The BABE DREAM store is the newest launch to Covent Garden’s Rosé festival. Situated within the Royal Opera House Arcade in Covent Garden, BABE have partnered with fellow disrupter, Notting Hill salon YOUNG LDN, to bring the BABE beauty vision to life.
The pop-up shop sells tongue-in-cheek merchandise, and also offers a whole host of bespoke BABE manicures with cold cans of sparkling wine served on the side.
The BABE DREAM store comes just in time to celebrate BABE’s newest achievement; the white wine variant has just been awarded a bronze medal in the IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition). In this competition, the wine is judged blindy by a panel of industry experts and leaders in the field. This award proves BABE have nailed the ability to retain the integrity of flavour in all of their cans.
The BABE DREAM store is open until 13th June, from 12pm until 10pm daily, with walk-in beauty services available from 12pm until 7pm. Dogs are very welcome too!
