Celebrating Nigerian Independence Day in style, the world’s biggest Afrobeats festival Afro Nation and LIT London are throwing a huge celebration this Friday night (4th October 2024).

Taking place at London’s ultimate destination for roller skating culture and late-night music – Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace – will play host to Nigeria’s own Dope Caesar. He’ll be joined by some of the most exciting rising talents including OV who will be playing a special AfroVibes set, as well as Tayo Iku, Mixr Moe, Pablo, J Gadget, Wiz The DJ and Mulano.

LIT London is promising a night of incredible music, vibrant energy, and a one-of-a-kind roller skating experience for all you legwork warriors and skate champions. Get down early at 8pm for a lap around the legendary rink, sample a hand crafted cocktail or two, and get warmed up for the main event that runs 10pm-3am!

This event, as well as Saturday night’s Piano People extravaganza with Kelvin Momo & Friends at The Troxy, are all part of the road to Afro Nation Portugal 2025. Headlined by Burna Boy and Tems between 9th-11th July, tickets for the festival are available today and always snapped up fast. Afro Nation is considered to be more of a cultural movement than a music festival, and the vibes on the beach are always immaculate. These moments are not to be missed, so strap on your boots and head on down to Flipper’s this Friday for the first taste of what’s to come!
