Espresso Martini lovers, get ready to raise your glasses because the Mr Black Espresso Martini Festival is just around the corner, running from September 19th to 29th 2024. This year’s festival, hosted by Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, is set to be a caffeinated extravaganza like never before, celebrating the UK’s beloved cocktail in all its boozy glory.

Expect more than just your typical Espresso Martini. This festival is a full-blown celebration, featuring creative takeovers, decadent pairings, and one-off concoctions you won’t find anywhere else. With over 75 venues participating, some of the UK’s hottest spots are getting in on the action. Take Giorgia Di Stefano from London’s Demon Wise & Partners, for example, who’s serving up ‘The Cool One’ – a rich blend of Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, Coole Swan Irish Liqueur, Vodka, Espresso, and Sugar Syrup that’s practically begging for an Instagram post.

In Leeds, Filippos Filippopoulos at Tabula Rasa is elevating the classic with his version, featuring Mr Black, Metaxa, Demerara, and Walnut Bitters – proof that you can teach an old cocktail new tricks. And if you find yourself in Glasgow, don’t miss Kim Toft’s ‘It’s Birchin’ at Daddy Marmalades, a bold mix of Mr Black, Birch Vodka, Chocolate, and Tobacco Bitters that’s as intriguing as it sounds.

Each venue on the Espresso Martini Fest map was carefully hand-picked by the team at Mr Black. They’ve used their expertise in both cocktails and coffee to curate a list of bars and restaurants. So, whether you’re into shaking things up or prefer a drink that’s stirred, these mixologists are pushing boundaries – think clarified, carbonated, smoked, infused, frozen, and foamed martinis that take innovation to the next level.

At the heart of it all is Mr Black, the coffee liqueur which has become synonymous with a top-tier Espresso Martini. Made for those who take their coffee and cocktails seriously, Mr Black combines cold brew specialty-grade Arabica coffee with premium Australian vodka. The result? A liqueur that’s smooth, rich, and full of bold coffee flavour, without any of the bitterness. It’s the ultimate ingredient for crafting an Espresso Martini that’s as refined as it is delicious.
