London’s food scene is serving up a feast of flavours this month, and we’ve rounded up the tastiest events you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re sipping bubbles at an oyster and champagne dinner, diving into a Welsh-inspired supper club, or raising a pint for St. Paddy’s Day, there’s something delicious for everyone. From fine wines to fusion feasts, here’s where to eat and drink in the capital this March:
1. For a Supper Club: The Libertine London
What: The Libertine London is set to launch a St David’s Day supper club on Saturday 1st March – an evening celebrating Welsh produce, encompassing lamb, Welsh cheeses, fine Welsh Whiskeys and much more.
The Event: From the rugged mountains to the wild coastlines, enjoy an exploration of traditional dishes reimagined with a showcase of the finest local ingredients and the passion and spirit of Welsh cuisine. Highlights from the menu include: Natural smoked haddock Welsh rarebit, followed by Roasted rump of Carmarthenshire lamb with potato and leek gratin and charred broccoli, and dessert of Bara brith and honey (tea-soaked fruit cake mixed with spices and baked to a moist perfection served with clotted cream and heather honey).

2. For a Fusion Feast: Sky Garden
What: On Wednesday 5th March, Kerth Gumbs of Fenchurch Restaurant and Thomas Lemercier, Head Chef of La Bibliothèque in Haggerston, will come together for a one-night-only French-Asian-Caribbean feast, offering a unique six-course tasting menu with a view 37-floors up in the iconic Walkie-Talkie building that houses the Sky Garden.
The Event: Dishes from Thom include onion soup, with onion, smoked gouda, clarified broth and Japanese milk bread; roasted monkfish, baby carrot, pickled kumquats and fermented carrot katsu; and whipped buttermilk and lemon thyme panna cotta, pear sorbet with Kerth bringing to the table roast scallop sweet and sour glazed pork belly, burnt apple purée; peppered lamb with gungo peas and mixed grains and an indulgent caramel cake with dulce chocolate, hazelnut and crème fraiche ice cream.

3. For an International Women’s Day Pop-Up: Firebird x Restaurant de Kas
What: Anna Dolgushina and Madina Kazhimova, co-founders of Firebird, are bringing the brilliant female Head Chef, Savannah Hagendijk, over from Amsterdam’s Restaurant de Kas for a special pop-up to celebrate International Women’s Day. Savannah will be bringing De Kas’ highly acclaimed dishes across the North Sea to the heart of Soho, London, in her first-ever international pop-up on Saturday 8th March.
The Event: Featuring signature dishes from De Kas with influences from Firebird’s smokey flavours and flame-kissed cookery the meal will start with two snacks, a crisp tapioca cracker with a celery dip made from De Kas’ garden alongside a red cabbage gazpacho with smoked sea salt. The first course will be beetroots roasted over the fire on Firebird’s grill, served with fresh blood orange, radicchio and a kosho hollandaise. This will be followed by a yakitori-style dish, a pumpkin and mussel skewer served with kumquat, burned mussel aioli, castel franco and pumpkin seeds. There’s loads more delicious stuff on the menu, we just don’t have the word count to mention it all!

4. For Wine Tasting: July x Collecte Eve
What: For this year’s International Women’s Day, Fitzrovia’s Alsatian-inspired restaurant and wine bar July are set to host a trade-style wine tasting with members of Collecte Eve in celebration of women in wine on Monday 10th March
The Event: July’s co-founder Solynka Dumas has invited Collecte Eve, a female-founded and led wine importer elevating female talent and passion in the industry, to showcase their wine. Hosted in July’s beautiful dining room from 4pm – 7pm, everyone is invited to sip flavoursome pours in a walk-around trade-tasting style, allowing for an easygoing exploration.

5. For a St Paddy’s Day Knees-Up: 40FT Brewery x Acme Fire Cult
What: 40FT Brewery – founded by Irish native Steve Ryan – is teaming up with sister restaurant, Acme Fire Cult this St Patrick’s Day for a full-on Irish all-dayer on Saturday 15th March.
The Event: Steve and his team at 40FT Brewery will be launching their eagerly awaited Nitro Deep Stout, there will be boozy Jameson Boilermaker cocktails available all day and DJs from 7.30pm. On the food front, ‘Spice Bags’ will be the dish of the day – a proper Irish late-night staple, consisting of salt and pepper-spiced chips, fried chicken, onions and peppers, accompanied by a very special Acme curry sauce.

6. For an Oyster and Champagne Dinner: Scott’s x Ruinart x Wright Bros
What: Head Chef Tom Fraser of Scott’s Richmond is teaming up with Champagne house Ruinart and seafood supplier extraordinaire Wright Bros for a one-of-a-kind Oyster and Champagne dinner on 18th March.
The Event: The evening will begin with a glass of Ruinart Blanc de Blanc N.V, followed by three native Wright Brothers oysters: Kelly Native, Gillardeau and Louët- Feissert, alongside a glass of Ruinart Blanc Singulier Edition 19. For dinner, seafood dishes will include Baked scallop en croute with oyster & Champagne velouté – paired with Dom Ruinart, Blanc de Blancs 2010. For main, Roast sirloin of beef with oyster rarebit, pommes puree & grilled baby gem paired with Joseph Phelps Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Vallen 2021. To finish: white chocolate oyster shell, yuzu curd, apple and shiso sorbet, paired with Ruinart Rose, N.V.

7. For a Whisky Dinner: Chichibu x ROKA
What: On 25th March, ROKA Canary Wharf will celebrate the limited edition blend of Hanyu ROKA x Chichibu whisky with a dinner and tasting led by Chichibu’s Global Brand Ambassador.
The Event: Enjoy a curated tasting menu matched to whisky, cocktails and a special tasting of the limited release of Roka x Chichibu. Diners will also receive their own 200ml bottle of the limited reserve to take home. This unique bottle combines malt whisky with one of the last casks from the historic Hanyu distillery, and boasts notes of caramel and hazelnut on the nose, stone fruit and silver jasmine on the palate and a finish of white peppercorn.
